Our sensors can be used in Intelligent Transport Systems for anonymous monitoring and situational awareness at traffic junctions and road infrastructure
Unlike other sensing technologies, the Oxford RF sensors can sense and monitor the entire 360 space around a junction due to the 360 field-of-view provided by our sensors. Pedestrians and vehicles alike can be detected using the radar data.
Roadside configurations
For roadside configurations where the radar sensor needs to be mounted at a height of say 4 meters, the H270-V sensor can be used to direct power towards the nadir direction, effectively eliminating the ‘blind spot’ which can be observed in all other sensing technologies.
