About us
Oxford RF
Oxford RF was established via a passion to tackle critical challenges in the driver assistance (ADAS) and automated/autonomous driving (ADS) markets.
These challenges were significant and numerous, including:
Sensor cost
Power consumption
Increasing sensor numbers
Resolution
All-weather / restricted vision operation
Security
(e.g. jamming, spoofing)
Through groundbreaking research, Oxford RF has developed cutting-edge sensor technologies that remarkably tackle all these issues at once, positioning Oxford RF as a leader in the field.
This innovative solution promises to transform autonomous driving, making it safer, more efficient, and more accessible.

Our timeline
Our Vision
At Oxford RF, our vision is “Safety for All”—making advanced safety features standard in every vehicle, regardless of price. Through cost-effective, innovative sensing solutions, we’re democratising ADAS technology, bringing high-end protection to entry-level cars and beyond.
Our scalable architecture is key to meeting the evolving demands of the automotive and autonomous vehicles industry. Our sensors work independently for basic ADAS features. They can integrate with central processors for enhanced ADAS capabilities. In addition, paired with AI, they’ll enable autonomous driving. This will lead to democratisation of ADAS and ADS technology.
But we see beyond automobiles. Our vision places Oxford RF sensors in motorcycles, forklifts, farm equipment, and even robots. In every sector, our technology enhances safety and efficiency.
We’re not just selling sensors; we’re setting a new mobility standard. At Oxford RF, we envision a world where every journey is safeguarded by our technology—making safety universal, not a luxury.
Our Mission
Our mission is to make safety accessible to all, which is the driving force behind what we do.
For some, the barrier to adopting safety sensing is the cost. For others, it’s the need for all-weather operation, or it’s the need for a lightweight sensor. For some, it’s the ability to look in all directions. Whatever the need, our sensors provide all of these key features, unlocking our customers’ safety and autonomy applications.
