Founder and CEO of OXFORD RF Dr Kashif Siddiq is a multi-award-winning expert, having invented an industry-first method for solid-state 360-degree perception sensing. This novel technology enables full 360-degree environmental awareness for vehicles or robots without relying on spinning parts - unlike traditional 360-degree lidar and radar systems that require moving optics and antennas. He is also a recognised radar subject matter expert having previously worked for the National Highways Authority (NHA) in the UK, where he contributed his expertise to enhance transportation infrastructure.
